When pavements are designed using 12d Model’s Pavement Manager (Design>Pavement>Pavement Manager), this tool allows you to quickly create pavement details for drawings, and checking the proposed depths and material selected for your project are correct.
Details of each pavement layer are extracted from the stored Pavement Manager attributes and displayed on the following models by default.
- “Cad/Pavement/DETAILS” and
- “Cad/Pavement/DIM“
Users may change the standard “Blue” swatch colour for each Pavement Type, which can be useful to match colours used with the “Pavements create from tin” option.
Panel Inputs
- Clean existing details – If ticked, previous details are deleted. Default is No.
- Pavement Type – Select pavement type to use.
- Description (optional) – Description for pavement. If blank, description from Pavement Manager will be used.
- Swatch colour – Typically colour used in plan drawings to define the position of pavement types. Default is blue.
- Detail location – Select location for detail. (Add approx. 70 to the DX coordinate to space the details nicely)
- Model prefix – Model for the created Pavement details and dimensions.
Note: If the Pavement Manager has not been used, and no pavement types defined, the <Run> button will be disabled.
