Below is the general process for applying attributes to pavements, to meet the TfNSW BIM Schema requirements.

1. Pavement Styles Manager

Setup pavement styles and pre-defined attributes.  An example Pavement Manager file is provided: $USER_LIB\TfNSW_Example_Pavement_Management.12dpmn

2. MTF – Pavement Manager Snippets

Use the Pavement Snippets shipped with 12d ($LIB), for example;

  • TRI_PAVEMENT_NEW_FROM_ATTRS.mtfsnippet
  • TRI_PAVEMENT_NEW_KERB_FROM_ATTRS.mtfsnippet
3. MTF – DE Attribute Snippets

Snippets shipped with Customisation ($USER_LIB) for applying DE Attributes;

4. Post Process Pavement Attributes

Post-Process attributes for pavements and kerbs that have been created using the MTF and Pavement Manager.  More info – Post Process Pavement Attributes

5. DE Toolbar – Apply MetaConnex

Creates additional attributes not provided via the MTF and Pavement Manager.
